"So many mistakes..." Me
You know it's time to move on when you're not even sure you want to succeed any more. Don't get me wrong, if someone handed me $1M in cash to keep working on Vervr, I would at least take some time to swipe a few stacks before politely declining the offer. I'm running out of interesting technical challenges, and now all my remaining obstacles are related to esoteric things like "building a business" and "not dying alone". As it turns out, saving those items until later wasn't the best idea. The good news is that I have two functional prototypes (and the space to store them), so if there is ever a compelling reason to revive Vervr, I'll be ready.
In the meantime, I'll be reflecting on the past three years in subsequent blog posts. Don't worry, I promise not to peddle advice like every other "thought leader" whose biggest contributions seem to be sharing screenshots of their own tweets on LinkedIn. These will be observations related to my own experience, intended for entertainment purposes only, heavy on the memes. Engage.
